Step 1 – Decide whether
or not to make it a surprise
This decision will obviously influence how you handle
the arrangements. For a little help on making this

section. If the shower is going to be a surprise,
then your main issues will be:
* knowing who to invite and how to contact them (perhaps
the father-to-be or another close friend or relative
of the mum to be can help with this)
* keeping everything a secret! (and making sure no-one
slips up!)
* getting the mum-to-be to arrive at the right place,
date and time (usually the dad-to-be can be very useful
for this, perhaps arrange for the couple to come over
for ‘lunch’ or a ‘BBQ’ –
there’s always a way!)
