18 - Receiving gifts
You are likely to receive a gift from each guest for the
baby. It is nice to have a table at the reception/party
available to put the gifts on. No-one should expect you
to open the gifts
there and then, but when you do open them at home later
or the next day, make sure you make a note of who gave what,
and send out thank you notes.
