How Big is the Bump?
 
Preparation:
You will need a tape-measure, a ball of string and a pair of scissors.
 
Playing the game:
* The purpose of the game is for each guest to guess how big the mum-to-be’s bump is.
* Each guest takes the ball of string and scissors, cutting a length that they think fits the circumference of mum and her bump at the widest point.
* The host then uses a tape measure to measure mum-to-be’s bump for real. Whoever’s length of string is closest, wins.
 
Another version of this is simply to ask everyone to write down on a bit of paper how big they think the bump is in inches/centimetres. This can be quite amusing as most people will have no idea where to start! Then measure the mum-to-be as above and whoever is closest, wins.
