It
is traditional at christenings to have a christening cake,
so why not have a Naming Cake? Some people save the top
tier of their wedding cake in the freezer, and have it re-decorated
especially for the occasion of the first child's christening
or naming, but this is by no means necessary, simply a nice
tradition. A beautiful cake also serves as a centrepiece
decoration to the table of food or presents at your naming
celebration.
Christening / Naming Cakes are these days anything from
a single-tier to three-tier cake, usually fruitcake, vanilla
or lemon sponge, and usually iced white or a pale pastel
colour and decorated with any baby-theme you could think
of. Of course, the cake especially features the first and
middle name(s) of your baby.
Whether on a budget, or with £200 to spend, we are
confident that you will succeed in finding the perfect cake
to celebrate your perfect baby!
